Global Awareness Website Assignment
Your project is to choose an International issue using the eResource Global Issues in Context. Browse around the general topic areas and then select a specific topic that moves you.
Once you have chosen a topic, you will create a website addressing this issue using the free website creator www.Yola.com . Your website must use information from as well as link directly to content from the reliable and trustworthy sources in Global Issues in Context and must comply with all fair use stipulations when reusing content.
Must Have Website Components
• At least one paragraph in the About Section explaining the issue and its impact.
• Create a link to an encyclopedia article in Global Issues in Context on a location that is impacted by your issue.
• A link to a current article in a major publication that addresses this issue.
• A link to another organization that addresses this issue.
• One picture from a legal source that emotionally addresses the website’s audience.
• One controversial discussion question on your chosen topic placed in the Blog section, designed to create debate around this issue.
• A map of the location that you are discussing.
